Woodsure roots
Woodsure is an insurance program serving the needs of Canadian firms using wood as a primary material.
Many business owners found Woodsure following the extreme insurance market hardening that resulted from the events of 9/11. At a time when wood truss manufacturers and pallet manufacturers could not find insurance at a viable price, we were able to develop and offer insurance solutions, enabling our clients to once again lean into risk and grow their businesses during those difficult years.
Building on our early success, in 2006 Woodsure was formally established as an industry-leading insurance brand serving the wood industry. By bringing together the wood industry in Canada, we were able to negotiate better insurance rates, better coverage, and better service, and offer our products to businesses coast-to-coast.
